it looks great, but then so did the first game initially. what the developer failed to tell you was that the world was massive, but there was nothing to do in it. and while there are clear improvements in this game, i have a feeling the same will happen again. massive world, but filled with liberation after lieration mission x 1000. no thanks. i need to know it was good before i bother even renting it.

It is not necessary to tell in every Just Cause 2 thread, KORNdog, how much you did not like the original Just Cause. I personally still enjoy it very much. Just relaxing and travelling across the gameworld in different ways and watching how the police will chase the criminals is something to do.

There seems to be some people that did not like the first one and now may give the sequel a chance. So when the sequel comes out and if the people that did not like the first one then like the sequel, does that mean that I won't like it then? It may be, but I hope that it can also be overall better. Anyways, I have pre-ordered it and I am very excited about that.

I also thought it was badass, though it did have a couple problems.

Though I think Mercenaries was the best game of last gen, so, my opinion probably doesn't count

Hell I even really liked mercenaries 2 :-) Although I know it wasn't a great game, I just had loads of fun with it...

Mercenaties 2 was better thna JC1. But JC1 had this epic scale and and this huge world. Skydiving was one of my favourite activities in this game :D
